Your data stays yours.
Your CSV stays in your browser. We do not upload or store your product data.
Local file processing
The CSV tool reads files you explicitly select and processes them in browser memory. It does not send file contents, filenames, SKUs, product titles, or image URLs to a server. It does not fetch URLs found in your file. Resetting or closing the page clears the tool’s in-memory copy. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them.
Optional accounts and saved summaries
Cloudflare D1 stores account identifiers, verified email, display name, hashed credentials, sessions, saved mapping configurations, scan counts and report references. Mapping configurations include source column names, not cell values. Records belong to an account ID. Saving a scan or preset requires your explicit action and Pro; local guest history is never automatically uploaded. Downgrading retains saved records as read-only.
Service providers and essential cookies
Cloudflare hosts the site and account API and may keep connection/security logs. The configured email provider delivers verification and password-reset messages using your account email. Paddle processes Sandbox checkout, billing email and subscription identifiers; card details stay with Paddle. Essential secure session cookies keep you logged in. They are separate from optional analytics consent.
Retention and your requests
Saved records remain until deleted or an account deletion request is completed, subject to required billing/audit retention. Contact the operator to request access, correction or deletion. Webhook audit records contain event identifiers, type, timestamps and processing outcome; full webhook payloads are not retained. Never send raw CSV files when requesting support.
Language preference and recent activity
We remember an explicitly selected language locally. Completed scans save up to 10 summaries on this device: tool identifier, timestamp, row count, critical/warning/information counts and readiness score. No filename, cell value or CSV contents are saved. Use “Clear local history” in Recent Activity to remove summaries. Browser storage may be unavailable; the tool still works. These preferences and summaries are never synchronized or sent to analytics. On a shared device, other users of this browser profile may see these summaries.
Website requests and analytics
Your browser requests ordinary website assets from the hosting provider. The provider may process standard connection information such as IP addresses and request logs. Product data is not included in those requests. Hosting connection logs can include IP addresses, requested paths, query strings, timestamps, and browser information; do not put sensitive data into site URLs.
Optional analytics is disabled in this build. No PostHog SDK, analytics requests, tracking cookies or persistent analytics identifiers run.
External links
If you follow a link to another website, its own privacy policy applies. Merchant CSV Doctor works without opening those websites.
Scope
Saving is always your choice. Files are never uploaded. Accounts store identity, subscription state and only the configurations or aggregate summaries you explicitly save.
